The Heart Behind Vete-Friends
Kadzo "Vicki" Wilson
Desert Storm Veteran • Founder • Community Leader
Born and raised in Fresno, California, Kadzo "Vicki" Wilson answered the call to serve our nation during one of its most critical moments — Operation Desert Storm. Her military service shaped her understanding of sacrifice, teamwork, and the unbreakable bonds formed between service members.
Upon returning home, Vicki faced the same challenges many veterans encounter: navigating complex systems, finding resources, and building a new life after service. Rather than accept these obstacles, she transformed them into a mission.
With decades of experience advocating for veterans in the Fresno community, Vicki founded Vete-Friends to formalize her lifelong commitment to those who served. Her approach is personal — she understands the journey because she's walked it herself.
Today, Vicki leads Vete-Friends with the same courage, determination, and compassion that defined her military career, ensuring no veteran in the Fresno community walks their path alone.
